Experience deep peace and connection with Sanskrit mantra and chanting.

From India to you.

Experience the subtle channel of nada (sound) yoga running through you. Learn to chant Sanskrit mantras. Use your voice to create inner freedom.

As an Indian-American, Marla grew up with sacred mantras in her family’s spiritual practice.

As an American, and now raising her kids in a Christian tradition, Marla knows how to make Indian devotional practices easy to understand and relatable. She has been teaching yoga and meditation since 2006 in the Rochester, NY area.

Sanskrit is a language codified to the energy centers of the body and allows us access to our own healing in a unique way: through our voices

You don’t need to be good at singing to practice

We all start from the beginning.

Whether or not you enjoy the sound of your own voice, we express ourselves in the world through our voices. Learning mantras and expressing our vocal resonance can have a far reaching effect on our ability to manifest and create changes in our physical body.

Workshops

Workshops can be held at your studio, your private location,
or Marla can host a group at her home.

Kirtan Musical Event

Come together for a live chanting event. Listen, sing, play in community. Experience the channel of sound in your body with Indian devotional music. This is for all music lovers and yoga practitioners who want a truly Indian experience.

Sanskrit workshop

Learn Sanskrit with precision. Most TTCs and yoga instructors have not learned correct pronunciation of Hindi and Sanskrit. This beautiful language syncs with the body to have a deep effect on our energy.

Mantra workshop (group or 1 on 1)

Entrain the body and brain for peace through practice. How do we design a mantra yoga practice for home? Learn a mantra, and structure a home practice. Regular mantra practice can be beneficial to both our health and personal evolution.

The true use of music is to become musical in one’s thoughts, words and actions.
